Welcoming Dr. Scott Thorpe, DACBR, to Millenium MRI

We are pleased to introduce a new member of the Millenium MRI family: Dr. Scott Thorpe, DACBR. With an extensive education, board certification, and years of experience in radiology, Dr. Thorpe brings a valuable perspective to our practice.
Education and training
Dr. Thorpe attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. There he earned both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 1995.
He became board-certified in radiology in 1998.
Specialized residency
Dr. Thorpe completed a full-time, three-year residency in diagnostic imaging at the National College of Chiropractic (now the National University of Health Sciences). The program covered all areas of imaging, with a special focus on musculoskeletal radiology.
During his residency, Dr. Thorpe:
Interpreted films from outpatient clinics, the Radiology Consultation Service at National College, and The National MRI Center
Served as an instructor for Radiology Learning Labs
Taught Radiation Physics, Normal Anatomy, and Bone Pathology in the chiropractic curriculum
Contributed to the radiology portion of the National Chiropractic Board Examination
Ongoing education and credentials
Dr. Thorpe regularly attends educational symposiums and conferences across the country to stay current with advances in radiology. He also holds credentials in general MRI recognized by the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society. To learn more about the technology itself, see how does an MRI work.
