With an impressive background and a commitment to advancing healthcare, Dr. Heiser promises to bring a wealth of knowledge and innovation to our practice. Education and Early Career Dr. Heiser's journey in healthcare began at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, where he graduated Cum Laude and Salutatorian in 2004 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This early academic excellence set the stage for his remarkable career. After obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Heiser practiced at a multi-disciplinary clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina, for three years. This real-world experience provided him with invaluable insights into patient care and the practical applications of chiropractic medicine. Master of Science in Diagnostic Imaging Dr. Heiser's commitment to expanding his expertise led him to pursue a Master of Science degree in Diagnostic Imaging. His dedication to excellence shone through as he graduated Summa Cum Laude in August 2010. This advanced degree provided him with a deeper understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques, a crucial aspect of modern healthcare. Residency and Educational Roles For three years, Dr. Heiser held a residency in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at his alma mater, further refining his skills and knowledge in the field of radiology. This period of intense training allowed him to hone his diagnostic abilities and stay at the forefront of technological advancements. In 2010, Dr. Heiser relocated to Tampa Bay, Florida, to take on a role as an assistant professor. He dedicated his time to teaching radiology and clinical practice at the National University of Health Sciences in St. Petersburg, Florida. His commitment to education extended to his position as an adjunct faculty member at St. Petersburg College, where he taught anatomy to pre-professional students. Advanced Training and Contributions Dr. Heiser's commitment to advancing his field is evident in his extensive post-graduate training in advanced imaging techniques across the country. He has completed over 300 hours in chiropractic orthopedic training, further solidifying his expertise in musculoskeletal conditions. As a frequent post-graduate speaker at Florida Chiropractic Association conventions, Dr. Heiser shares his insights on common and less-expected musculoskeletal conditions and their various manifestations. His dedication to educating his peers and the broader healthcare community underscores his commitment to excellence. A Commitment to Professional Organizations Dr. Heiser is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the American Chiropractic College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Association, and the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society.
